I use a combination of graphite and charcoal to enhance the distinctions of light and dark that both mediums bring to a drawing.  Once the subject is completed, the drawing is treated with a matte spray to eliminate the "shine" associated with graphite-drawn pictures.

Multiple subjects can be arranged in a "montage" style, or side by side, depending on the wishes of the client.  All drawings are done from photographs, and I am able to use multiple photographs to combine into a single subject (i.e., I've had clients who like the child's smile in one pose, but their hairstyle in another, etc.) as long as the photos are of similar angles and sizes.  For an additional fee, I can also combine photographs of multiple subjects into one drawing, depending on the difficulty and detail involved. I'd also like to request that the client thinks about how much white space is desired around their subject.  I can fill to the edges, or leave the subject smaller in the center with a lot of white space surrounding it, leaving room for framing size decisions or just because the effect from the additional white area is desired.
